Auria
A daily aura reading. Press the orb and it reads your energy from your photo and your touch.
What it is
An app for daily reflection. You press and hold the orb, and Auria reads two things — the input from your touch, and your photo, interpreted by AI — to generate a reading specific to you: an aura with a name, three words, and a short passage about what's shifting. Each day is saved to a color calendar, so over time you can see a record of how you've been.
Problem
A friend described getting her aura read. She touched a stone, the reading came from whatever that stone picked up, and she walked out with a printed booklet about herself. I liked the shape of it — put your hand on something, get something specific back — and wanted to see whether that translated to an app.
My role
I designed and built the app myself, with Claude and Xcode.
Outcome
In App Store review, which is taking a while.
